UV sterilizers are more energy-efficient and have lower operating costs compared to autoclaves. However, their effectiveness is limited to exposed surfaces and does not penetrate materials. The ease of use and quick turnaround time make UV sterilizers a practical choice for surface-level sterilization needs.
